Alongside her studio practice, Tanaka travels widely, immersing herself in new places and leaving her artwork at each. Her work is a response to the colours, rhythm and feeling of each place.

Tanaka is known for her use of bright colours and bold, generous lines and shapes. This new collaboration design, created with an unexpected, playful touch, has been printed onto cotton.
