Bishu woollen textiles have a rich heritage in and around Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture. Thanks to its rich natural surroundings, including the Kiso River, the region has long been known as Japan’s largest producer of woollen textiles. Born in a region that has upheld tradition and quality for generations, this cloth is used by many well-known fashion labels.

A Glen plaid cloth woven from a blend of silk and traditionally spun British wool yarn. With coloured flecks of silk adding an accent, this cloth is as pleasing to the touch as it is to the eye — now the cover of our notebook.
